My poor blog, must feel like an orphan :)

I've managed to do it again, not have enough time to post anything here, not because of lack of activity, things continue to happen around me on a daily basis, I just don't take the time to sit down and document everything.

Well, something has happened recently, actually a couple of somethings that I want to write about here, I'll have to keep them to myself right now, because it has to do with someone else and I need to have their permission before writing about it. Sorry to sound so cryptic, I'm certain I can gain this person's permission, I might even be able to get an audio interview.

I'll say that this person is a relative and things happen around this person, a lot of things, hopefully I'll be able to put it down in writing or even audio, stay tuned!

One Year Ago Today

It's been exactly one year ago today that I made my last post, it's not that nothing has happened, but life has happened, lots of it. I still have "experiences", mostly on a daily basis, but nothing that has jumped up high enough to be written about.

Most of what has happened is that "little voice" type thing, turning left instead of turning right, slowing down or speeding up, as you can tell it's usually when I'm driving in my truck going all over west Texas to work.

That's all for now, I'm about to get ready to go out to work, we have been snowed in for several days, we don't get a lot of snow and it doesn't take much to bring everything to a halt out here. I'm not 100% sure I can get out of my neighborhood, we have unpaved roads in a very hilly/mountainous terrain, there is one hill I have to get up and I have no guarantee that my truck can make it, it just depends on how dry the road is, most of the snow is gone, we are just waiting on the roads to dry up.

I'm looking forward to a good 2016 :)

I'm still here :)

Just a quick note to let everyone know I'm still alive and kicking :)

I have not seen that dark creature any more, every once in a while, at night while in bed, I'll look for a second toward the bathroom area where I saw it, it's clear as can be.

The only thing that has been happening to me lately, in the paranormal realm is I keep seeing this flash of light, it's a reflected light, usually located in a corner of my main living space, there isn't anything over there that should be able create a light. I don't know what it is or why it's happening, I feel pretty neutral about it.

Other than that, things have been pretty quiet around here, thus the lack of posts. Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

The Rest of the Battle

In my previous post, written several months ago, I discussed a battle that went on right next to me, I hesitate to say it was a battle between this thing and MYSELF, as it was quite one sided, I had the ultimate power in the universe fighting this battle for me, all I had to do was pray which is what I was TOLD to do.

Now as to the "message" I was given, I was to die that night. That didn't frighten me, I've been there and I know what to expect. As I was praying, praising God, I felt a pressure on my head, it began pushing me down, as if I was going through my pillow, through my bed, I continued praying, telling God I was ready to go if it was my time, I know I was being pushed out of my body.

Then I though about PB, laying in the bed, he would find my lifeless body the following morning, that part would be sad for sure, but I also had some unfinished business, some financial business, I didn't have a will drawn up, he could potentially be left out in the cold, I told God, if this was His will, I would submit, but if it was possible, I would like enough time to get my earthly affairs in order, then I would gladly go.

I heard the phrase "2 weeks" in my head and the pressure stopped. After that, I continued praying for a while, then went to sleep.

I was not trying to negotiate for more time just to stay alive longer, I truly wanted to get my earthly affairs put together, I had no idea how my demise would happen, but I was ready to go when it did.

I had a talk with my preacher about this, though I was completely at peace about it, I just wanted at least one person to know what was going on, I also needed someone to witness my will, I had another person in mind but wouldn't tell that person until later. I also wanted someone to help PB get through losing me, he would have a great change in his life and would need the help of caring friends to do what needed to be done.

A few days later, I sought the advice of a very connected (to God) Christian, he is very spiritual, I had a long talk with he and his wife, I knew I could get confirmation from him about what happened to me that night, if the confirmation was that I was going to die within the time specified, then so be it, but if the confirmation was in the negative about that, well I would just see what happened.

After much discussion and deep prayer, he and his wife both felt like this wasn't a message from God, but instead a "parting gift" from this evil entity, it was trying to scare me, most people when challenged by death are so afraid of dying that they will try to beg their way out of it, or perhaps it was a way to try to distract me or test my faith. Either way, I have to say that it had just the opposite effect on me, that next two weeks, I walked around on clouds, I was almost ecstatic,  I was going to be with my Jesus, my God, death held no fear for me, I was ready and willing to go.

The 2 week period passed uneventfully, I did get some important things taken care of that I had put off for far too long. That creature has not been back nor do I expect to see it again, but if it should show itself again, I have no doubt about the outcome.

The Battle

A couple of nights ago, the shadow thing in the shower area appeared again, but before that happened, I was still up, working on my computer, I was thinking about going to bed, it was around midnight'ish, I usually take my MP3 player to bed with me, I usually listen to a Coast to Coast am downloaded podcast, this night I was "told"

"You need to pray."

It was emphatic yet matter of fact, it was not a request, it was a statement of what I needed to do, I fully believe that came directly from my Lord (the Christian God in case there is any question), I don't argue with that voice. I shut down my computer, I took my MP3 player and stuck it under my pillow, just in case it was a short prayer (grin), but didn't expect to turn it on that night.

I got in bed, turned to face the window that goes into the shower area and began to pray. My prayer started out simple enough, I asked for forgiveness of my sins, I thanked and praised God, then I said "here I am, what am I supposed to do?". I repeated that several times, being quiet and still between queries. That's when I began to see that shadow flitting around in the shower again.

It was the same thing I saw before http://thingsthatgobumpinthenights.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-night-shadow-creature-is-back.html

I began telling this thing that I wasn't afraid, and I began quoting Psalms 23, especially the part about "I will fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me",  and I truly had no fear, I began putting on the armor or God, praying the white light of protection around me and pleading the Blood of Jesus around me and against it.

This was a battle, but it felt like quite a one sided battle, it was not a struggle for me at all, I had the protection of my Father, this thing could do no harm, all it could do was leave, and eventually it did.

I have battled spiritual beings before, and it was a struggle, this time there was no struggle, none on my part, I just continued to pray until it was gone. I don't know how long that lasted, it could have been 10 minutes, it could have been an hour, time had no meaning right then.

Then I really went into praising my God, telling Him that He was my God, my Master, my Father, my Protector, I imagined kneeling at the feet of a King, giving my all to Him. That night I felt closer to my God than I have ever felt before.

There was more to the "message" I was given, but that part is private and I don't feel it's necessary to share it now, perhaps in the future I'll be able to, but for now, it was for me to hear.

I haven't seen that shadow creature since then, I have a feeling it's gone for good, but if it isn't, I know what to do. :)

I pray, but they are rarely formal-dry things quoted from memory, they are more like conversations, chats, praises, giving thanks, prayers are mostly started by myself, I think this is the first time a prayer session was "requested" of me like this, I must say, I rather like it :)

The night shadow creature is back....

It's been a while since I've written, in my last post I talked about a new realization about some of the things that happened in my childhood, things I didn't understand, but now I have a new understanding about it. I am once again comfortable with everything, even the things that have changed.

One thing I had to come to a conclusion about was how this fits into my religious views, I hesitate to use the term religion because IMHO religion is how MAN screwed up our relationship with God, when I say MY religious views, I'm really saying my relationship with my Lord.

The conclusion I came to was it didn't matter what happened to me then, now or anything in between, I am still the same person, God is still God and nothing else matters or can change that.

So with that out of the way, I can continue with my journey. Things have been fairly quiet since writing last, I still see things on a daily basis, movements, sparks of light, shadows, the normal daily things, but still pretty quiet, until the last few weeks. I have been seeing extra things, one thing in particular is a flash of light inside the house, I know it's not just "in my head" because it happens in a particular space, between objects in my house, if it was just my eyes playing tricks, then it would be superimposed over my view obscuring everything.

I have seen this flash of light in a place where there are electronics, BUT the LED lights on this electronic item doesn't face toward the wall, it's over near my off grid power setup inside the house, the flash reflected off the wall, when I first saw it I was concerned that it could have something to do with the electronics there, then when I considered it, I knew there was no way there could be a light THERE, there just isn't a spot that could generate a light that would reflect off the wall in THAT SPOT. I have seen that a couple of times. I have no idea what it is or what it could mean.

The other thing that is new, well new in that I haven't seen this phenomena since I was a pre-teen, I used to see this nearly every night, it used to scare me a little, I think the purpose of seeing it was to try to scare me, eventually I quit being afraid of it, even getting mad at it and telling it that I wasn't afraid of it anymore, that's when it stopped happening on such a regular basis.

Now to explain what I saw, my bed is next to 2 windows, the window nearest my feet goes to the outdoors, the window closest to my head is the common wall between the bedroom and the shower. This shower area is large, like a good size walk in closet, there are 2 big windows in there that are on the outside wall, they stay open most of the time. The window between my bedroom and the bathroom has a plastic translucent sheet hanging on it, the idea is to give privacy to the person in the shower and still let light into the bedroom. This plastic sheet is attached at the top and the bottom so it can't billow around when the wind blows or when you go in or out of the shower.

The light in the shower gives off a tiny bit of light, even when the switch is in the off position, it's an issue with the wiring that we have deemed to be safe, a happy accident, we treat it like a night light. I can see the light from my bed through the plastic sheet.

Last night when I went to bed, it was actually early this morning (I am a night owl), I was facing the window, I could just faintly make out the glow of the light in shower, the wind was calm. I began seeing what looked like a shadow going back and forth in the shower area, it was quite active, it was as if there was a large bird flying back and forth, except if there had been a bird in there, as fast as the shadow was flitting back and forth, it WOULD have run into something or made some sort of noise, this was silent. I'd estimate the object I was seeing was perhaps a couple of feet in length, maybe a foot in width but with trailing black as if it had fabric that was flying out behind it, it was in the middle to upper part of the room.

I lay there, watching this movement, it was happening right in front of my face, no "corner of my eye" going on, it was constant, fast, erratic, it didn't scare me though, what made me realize it was a spiritual thing, or at least not of this world, was the fact that every now and again whatever thing dark shadowy thing was, it popped through the wall close to the ceiling, it would come in to my room, right over my bed, it would enter about a foot then flit back. It was mostly solid, but with a slight translucence to it.

I could also see the reflection in the glass of the door to my bedroom, there is a reflected light from the nightlight in the main room of the house. I could see a shadow moving around there too, but the main activity was going on just a couple of feet away from me, right in front of my face.

I watched this for a few minutes, then I closed my eyes to pray, I plead the Blood of Jesus on myself and I asked for the white light of protection around me, then I opened my eyes again, the shadow was still there, just as active as it had been, continuing to pop through the wall above the window into my room then shooting back.

I tried looking in different ways, following the shadow, then keeping my eyes on one spot as the shadow flashed back and forth. The best way I can describe it is, think of how it looks when you see reflected firelight from a candle or campfire, the light flickers and plays on the objects in the area, well if you were to make the light be dark, that's how it looked, it flickered, it flicked, it shot back and forth in the shower space. There was about a half moon last night, so there was a bit of light from outside, plus the tiny bit of light from the light fixture, this shadow was flying in front of that.

I finally fell asleep, I woke about an hour later, it was just before the sun was about to start coming up, still dark outside, I was still facing the window, the shadow was gone, the room looked perfectly normal, I looked hard and saw nothing out of the ordinary.

This didn't scare me, I wasn't concerned about going to sleep with it going on, I don't know what it was, I wonder if it will be back tonight when I go to bed, I'll look to see. I have no interest in communicating with whatever this thing is, I'm not sure if it's a spirit thing or an alien thing, I'm not sure if this was something that was just there and I happened to be able to see it, or if it was there specifically FOR me to see, I am leaning toward the latter.

The similarity of what I used to see as a kid, I would go to bed, the lights would be turned off, there was almost always enough light coming in from outside of the window, there must have been a streetlight out there. I could usually easily see what was in my room-the walls, the furniture, my toys... until this black shadow thing would arrive, sometimes it would be there as soon as the lights went out, sometimes it would appear long after the lights were out. This thing didn't have a shape, it was just big and dark, it would roll and boil, obscuring my vision, filling the room, causing me much fear and sometimes even terror, I would pray and pray, it would eventually go away. I also had nightmares about it. I don't know if this is the same thing or a similar thing, it just reminds me of it because of being dark and flitting around.

With this activity ramping up, I don't know what to think about it, it doesn't disturb me, it just IS.

Paradigm shift....

For those who have followed this blog, I think I've made myself pretty clear on where I stand on the things I have seen and experienced all of my life, I have grown comfortable with it as something that just "is". Well, a few days ago, I listened to a Coast to Coast am show that has sent me down new path, one that is going to be a paradigm shift for me.

The show which aired on October, was called Aliens & Abductions,  the guest was Derrel Sims, he is better known as the Alien Hunter. As I listened to this show, more and more things began resonating with me, things I didn't necessarily want to have resonate.

I don't know if I'm ready to explain everything now, I don't know if I even can, not now, not yet, BUT the floodgates have been opened and I don't think I can pretend this isn't happening.

This is one example of what is bubbling up in my mind, I didn't "forget" about this, in fact I have very vivid memories about it, but didn't understand why it happened the way it did, now I believe I understand what happened (or at least part of it) and it makes perfect sense.

I was a young child, I was in bed with my mom, the room was dark except for a street light outside of the window, I could see a silhouette of a man on the window shade, it was not a trick of light and shadow, it WAS the perfect shape and size to be a man standing outside of the window, I woke my mother up, I was terrified, she looked at it and groggily told me to go back to sleep, I asked her if she could see it and she said she could, but that it was just a trick of the light and to go back to sleep, she turned over and fell back asleep, I could NOT understand what was going on, she could see this yet didn't get up to investigate, this was NOT like my mother, even if she had believed this was a trick of the light, she normally would have gotten up and looked out the window, if nothing else but to show me that everything was OK. There is a lot more to this story, I'm leaving out many details, I'm not ready to go into it yet, I have to get this straight in my head first, this is exciting, this is scary too, but this can of worms has been opened and I can't un-open it. I also believe I am about to learn about the things that have happened to me all of my life, maybe not all of the answers, but I am understanding some things.

The Dream

Dreams, they are funny things, and in most cases, they have the most meaning to the dreamer and to no one else.

I awoke this morning in the midst of a dream that was a delight (in the dream), though if it happened in reality I wouldn't be so excited about it, I'd deal with it and live with it, but it wouldn't be ideal.

I dreamed I was pregnant, in a nutshell, dreaming about being pregnant usually represents a major change is coming, when I awoke I was deciphering the dream and realized that going by the time hints I know that the "change" that was being more than hinted at was about how our lives were going to change and was about the time just before we moved off grid and didn't refer to now. (*)

Here is the dream.

I was at my dad's house, he was still alive, my sister and her best friend had arrived at the house, I had just found out I was pregnant, very pregnant, to the point where I was going to soon go into labor. I was in bed and had just awoke when my sister and her friend arrived, it was so early in the morning that it was still dark. I was debating having my child at home but realized that at my age it would be near impossible to find a midwife that would agree, and it was clear that I hadn't had any medical care during my pregnancy (apparently I didn't know I was pregnant, I thought I was going through the beginning stages of menopause and that was why I wasn't having regular periods, that is something that is going on now in my life and wasn't happening back then...). I was resigning myself to having this baby in a hospital.

After I got out of bed, I noticed my dad was on the phone and seemed to be irritated with whoever he was talking to, it turned out to be a financial organization, I had some money in this financial company and was trying to get it cashed out, my dad was talking as if they had the wrong number and was trying to hang up on them. I was trying to get to him to get the phone out of his hands before he hung up, he managed to get the phone nearly on the hook before I got my hands on it, fortunately he hadn't disconnected the call yet.

As I spoke on the phone, I found out that the stocks that I wanted to cash out were at an all time high and it was a good time to cash out. While doing the transaction, I began telling the lady on the phone about my pregnancy, how excited I was, I told her that I only had one son, that I had made the decision that if I hadn't had another child by the time he started kindergarten that I wouldn't have another child, I didn't want to have children with a huge age gap, so I didn't have another child after my son.

I was watching my son running around the back yard while having this conversation, he was 17 going on 18 in the dream, (that was a time frame hint for me to let me know it wasn't the present). I was running the numbers through my head to figure out the age difference between the two of them.

By this time, I had wandered out into the back yard, still talking to this lady on the phone. The sky was dark, but I could see an aircraft of sorts in the sky (**), it was coming out of the east heading west, it seemed to be a blimp of sorts, but militarized, able to move faster and maneuver easily, it was also armored and quiet, there was a large one and a smaller one attached to it, next to it, not behind or in front of it.

I had time to consider Bob in the dream, I knew we were about to move across the state and live a completely different life, I wondered how having a baby would change our lives. I was also calculating how old I would be at each major stage of my baby's life, how old I would be when school started, during graduation, marriage and such. It was also noted that Bob wasn't there in the dream, that was OK though, he was getting our west Texas-off grid home ready.

In the dream I was delighted about becoming a mother again, even though I knew it would radically change my life. In real life, if I were to find out I was pregnant, well as I said above, I would live with it, I don't believe in abortion, especially if it's just a case of inconvenience. I would accept it and go on with my life, but it wouldn't be what I would want to have happen.

(*) The time frame for the dream was just before we moved to our off grid home, the time hints were the age of my son, being almost 18, my dad still being alive, trying to cash in stock (it was Best Buy employee stock), yet there were hints of today, going through peri-menopause, there were many more hints of this being a previous time rather than being in the present time.

(**) Over the years, I have had recurring dreams of military craft flying over the backyard of my dad's house, it is ALWAYS ominous, sometimes they stop and hover in the air, that is the scariest part. Sometimes in the dreams the aircraft crash in or near my dad's backyard, I always have a deep seated fear of what this means. In each of the dreams, the airplanes are always different, it's not an identical dream, but definitely a recurring theme. Also, the airplanes almost always come out of the west or a westerly direction, in this dream, it was very clear that it came out of the east, far far in the east, heading west.

Roses Roses

About a week and a half ago, I had an interesting experience over at a friend's house. I was over there, about to get ready to leave, when I smelled a very strong scent, it was the scent of roses, very strong, very definite, there was no mistaking the scent. I could only smell it in a certain area in the kitchen, I could walk into the "scent" space and out of it, I asked my friend if there was anything that could possibly smell like roses in her kitchen area and she assured me there was nothing.

She came over and sniffed the air, I could still smell it strongly, and she was well within the scent bubble, but she couldn't smell it at all, this was not subtle, it was strong and definite.

At one point it vanished, then it came back, in the same spot. I walked around sniffing the various things to see if it was coming from something, it was not the laundry, it was not the fruit in a bag nearby, it was not coming from anything, but it was in the air, in a certain area, a 3D scent bubble that I could detect the edges, where it was and where it wasn't.

My friend suggested that "Mother Mary" was known to have the scent of roses associated with her, well I am not a Catholic, I don't believe in praying to saints or Mary, I do not believe that had anything to do with what I was smelling.

Another possibility is my mother, she loved roses, she had a difficult time finding perfumes that she could wear, they tended to go sour on her, she blamed her chemistry. One of the few scents she could wear was one by Avon called Roses Roses, and yes, it smelled just like roses. I did NOT feel the presence of my mother, I didn't really "feel" anything, I just smelled the scent very strongly.

It eventually dissipated, I haven't smelled it since, it was very odd though, I don't usually smell things like that, I'm more a visual or auditory person, I see and hear things, I even sense the presence of things (feel them), sometimes they physically touch me, but it's so very rare for me to smell something like that...

Gazing Into Glory - book pre-review

Here  is an interesting looking book, it's not often that I find authors that combine the supernatural with the Bible, even though the Bible is filled with what would be considered supernatural occurrences and happenings, all too many people consider those instances as "just for the Bible days", not for today, "colorful" stories but not what really happened, things like that and more... personally I believe, more than believe, I KNOW that the spiritual world is every bit as real (if not more real) than this physical world we temporarily reside within.

This book is free today only through Amazon, can't guarantee the price after today,
Gazing Into Glory: Every Believer's Birth Right to Walk in the Supernatural

I haven't read it yet so I can't give a review, I have skimmed through it and so far it looks pretty good, since it's free today I'll go ahead and post the link here for everyone, grab it, read it and decide if it's for you, if it's not then you can delete it and all it cost was a bit of your time :)

I'll write a proper review after I read it, but don't wait for my review if you want to get it free. Even if you don't have one of those e-readers, you can still download it and read it on your computer with the free app on Amazon.

Our Inner Garden...

Seeds, there are many kinds of seeds, they mostly come from plant life, seeds that are good for food, medicine and beauty. There are also bad seeds, honestly in nature there are no "bad plants", only the ones we don't wish to reap, such as weeds, noxious plants, invasive plants, poisonous plants, thorny plants...

If you plant watermelon seeds, you expect to get a watermelon vine, hopefully with watermelon fruit, if you plant corn seeds, you expect to get corn stalks with corn growing on them... how silly would it be to plant okra and expect to see peas growing??? What if we plant weed seeds, or if we don't cultivate our little piece of ground to remove the weed seeds that blow in from neighboring fields?  Then the good seeds we plant may be choked out by the weeds. The good seeds and plants can be delicate, they need tender loving care to sprout, grow and produce fruit. The weeds are hearty, they don't require care, in fact many thrive on stony, uncultivated, dry, hardened, ignored ground, they will steal the sun, moisture and nutrients that should be going toward your good crops.

There are other kinds of seeds, the ones we sow with our minds, our thoughts, our intentions and words. Make no mistake, what you sow you WILL reap. What kinds of thoughts go through your mind on a daily basis? Are they negative in nature? Even if you don't speak the words or perform an action, negative thoughts are just like weed seeds, and if you allow it free run of your mind, then this is what you will reap. Negative thoughts breed negativity in life, what do you think when you see yourself in a mirror? Are you thinking "I'm fat", "I'm too skinny", "I'm ugly", "I'm stupid", "My nose is too big", you get the idea... these are seeds that you are planting in your mind, seeds that will grow and choke out the good that you have inside.

How about changing those thoughts to positive ones, good seeds, things that will nourish you and make you smile? You can start out easy if you wish, find something you like about yourself and concentrate on that, no one is ugly, God created you and His creations are beautiful, there are many ways you can focus on the positive things, and saying them, even in the privacy of your own mind, it WILL create a beautiful garden inside of you, once you have that going on, that beauty will show to the world.

You can plant seeds in other people as well, how to you talk to other people? Especially those who are the closest to you? Sometimes our words are painful to the ones we love, it's not that we intend to cause pain, but words can hurt or words can build someone up, which are you doing? Do your words make your mate (or child or friend) smile or shrink away?

One of the best things I learned from PB was how to be kind, being in a relationship isn't a competition, we are on the same team, on the same side, it's us against the world. He goes out of his way to compliment me on a daily basis, if the kitchen is a wreck and I clean the stove, when he comes in, he doesn't point out the dishes in the sink or the dirty towels on the floor, he points to the stove and tells me what a good job I did on cleaning that. Guess what that makes me want to do??? It makes me feel good about myself and makes me want to please him even more.

Meals are the same way, he ALWAYS compliments me on the meals I make, even the ones that flop, he finds SOMETHING good to say about it. This taught me the value of words, he taught me the power of words. It took me a little time, but I consciously began to compliment PB more and more, at first it felt funny, forced, I meant what I was saying but I wasn't used to saying it that often, but as time went by it became easier and more natural, seeing how it makes him feel is my reward, that in turn makes him want to please me more.

It becomes a cycle, he makes me feel good, I make him feel good, we both feel good, it makes both of us want to be on the same team together, us against the world. Don't wait for your mate (or child, or friend) to start either, YOU start it and continue doing it, planting one seed will not a garden make, especially if you are also spreading noxious weed seeds, you need to plant lots and lots of positive seeds by saying nice, gentle things, compliments and stop spreading the weed seeds in there, even if you think your mate is throwing weeds toward you, if you are persistent, the good seeds will kill out the negative ones, don't forget that after you plant these seeds of good, you need to nurture them, planting them then ignoring them doesn't work very well, you must give them TLC and love.

So look at your inner garden, what is planted, what is growing? Is it weedy? Do you need to plant some positive seeds? Do you need to cultivate the soil? Do you need to remove some weeds?

Contentment

Where am I now?

contentment
con·tent·ment [kuhn-tent-muhnt]
noun
1. the state of being contented; satisfaction; ease of mind.
2. Archaic. the act of making contentedly satisfied.
Origin: 1400–50; late Middle English contentment; Middle French.
Synonyms 1. See happiness.

World English Dictionary content 2 (kÉ™nˈtÉ›nt)  adj
1. mentally or emotionally satisfied with things as they are
2. assenting to or willing to accept circumstances, a proposed course of action, etc — vb
3. ( tr ) to make (oneself or another person) content or satisfied: to content oneself with property — n
4. peace of mind; mental or emotional satisfaction

This is something I generally am, I know not the best grammar, but it's true, while we can't always control what is going on around us, we do have absolute control over HOW we react to things. Oh sure I can get angry, but my set point is contented, happy, calm... I can even get excited about things, being excited isn't necessarily a positive or negative thing, you can get excited and cause yourself damage (emotionally and physically) if you all it to rule your life.

I am not into zen stuff, but if I were, I think I'd make a great zen person, instead I'm zen for God. :) I know things happen, sometimes good, sometimes not so good, but it's all for the betterment of ourselves. Yes, even the seemingly negatives that pop up in our lives, these tests, these roadblocks, I feel like everything happens for a reason, and even that seemingly negative experience is a growing and learning experience for me.

For example, you are on your way to work, you are running late, everything is slowing you down, you are working on your "excuse" you will give your boss, it's starting to rain, oh great... then you have a flat tire, ughhhhhh! You have to stop, hopefully you know how to change a tire, have all the necessary tools or you might have to call for help, either way, now you are really late for work... you could be thinking to yourself, wondering why it ALWAYS happens to you?

So, now you are back on the road, you've called in to work to let them know why you aren't there yet, then as you come around the corner on the freeway, there is a huge backup of traffic, there has been a major wreck... soooo if you hadn't had that flat tire, you would have been speeding through there in a tizzy right at the time of the wreck. So all of those things that were blocking you from getting to work on time, probably just saved your life, or at the very least saved you from a wrecked car and possibly a wrecked life.

I can tell you that sort of thing has happened to me more than once, there was a time when I was looking at getting a pretty huge financial settlement, for 3 years this went back and forth with lawyers, meetings and such... eventually it all came down to one thing and that wasn't in my favor, it wasn't right, it should have been in my favor, but God did me a favor by not allowing me to "win" that settlement... I guarantee you that if I had won that settlement and gotten even a percentage of what I was expecting, I wouldn't be where I am now, I would be living quite a different life and I don't think it would have been nearly as good as I have it now.

I enjoy my life, I am happy, more importantly I am content, what about you? If not, what would it take to get you into that state?

The Good, The Bad and The Overrated

I watched an interesting documentary a few hours ago, it's called

Angels, Aliens & UFOs

This is basically a show about seeing things through video cameras that the naked eye cannot see, things such as lights, orbs, shapes, shadows and such. At first I wasn't very impressed, the images and videos tended to be blurry and quite frankly I couldn't see what they said they were seeing, but it did get better as it went on.

Here is a preview of the show
Some of the things I saw in the video were pretty close to the things I see, the shadow on the building, some of the lights going across the sky, I also liked that the host of the show referred to scripture, it wasn't all "new age" or full of "let's meet our alien brothers"...

I watched this on NetFlix, I am enjoying a free month of use then I'll most likely cancel my membership, or I might keep it for a while like I did before, at least until I run out of shows I want to watch, this is my second free month they have offered to me.

I'd say if you aren't a NetFlix subscriber, it would be worth getting the free month just to watch this show.

I noticed it didn't have good reviews, I gave it a 5 star rating, for what it was it was pretty good, much better than the ghost hunting shows on TV nowdays.

I have pretty much stopped watching the ghost hunting shows, I used to enjoy watching Ghost Hunters, especially the first few seasons, they seemed to be pretty genuine back then, they actually had shows where they found nothing, or they found normal explanations for what was thought to be paranormal activity.

Then, slowly over time, they would find something paranormal in each and every show, maybe their target audience didn't like seeing them find nothing, maybe they quit showing the investigations where they found nothing or found normal answers... I don't know what happened but it got to be very predictable and quite frankly boring... I still catch the show every now and again, but I make no special effort to watch it.

I couldn't stand all the other ghost hunting shows that cropped up after Ghost Hunters, I would watch then a time or two, most of them were a joke, filled with bad night vision distorted face cams of screaming investigators running away when anything so called "paranormal" happened...

I had all but given up on those kinds of shows, I didn't bother even looking at the more strange ones, there's one out now about southern hicks hunting ghosts, and yet another about swampland rednecks hunting ghosts, another that combines ghost hunting with gold mining... I am glad there is enough interest in this subject to warrant people trying to make these really bad shows... I just can't watch them though...

Until a couple of weeks ago, I was at my neighbor's house doing some laundry, I turned on the TV and on one of the channels was a show called Haunted Collector, I had heard about it but really thought it would be just too far out for me, I watched one segment and part of another, I couldn't believe it, but I found myself wanting to see the rest of the show, so I found it online and watched it. Today I was doing laundry there again and they were having a marathon of this show, I watched a couple of the episodes and so far I like it, they don't run screaming every time something happens, they seem to do quite a bit of research on the location they are working, and they seem to be pretty normal people with real feelings, they don't come across as fake, they also don't jump to conclusions.

I'll be investigating this show more closely.

Where Have I Been?

All righty, here I am again, it's been way too long and I've been way too busy to write here, that is just not right, I know there are a few of you who check here on a semi-regular basis waiting for me to come back and get busy writing here... well here I am, sorry for the absence.

Soooo, you might wonder what I've been up to lately, since my dad passed away, I haven't really had any sort of visitation from him, please understand I'm not LOOKING for it either, my prayer to God about this is "if it's Your Will, then let it happen, if not then so be it"... I prayed it once and let it go, I don't feel like asking for it over and over, even saying "if it's Your Will" is a good thing to do, if it happens then it happens, if not, then it doesn't.

That was the attitude I had about my mother, and it was 4-5 years after her death before I had any sort of encounter with her, it happened in a dream, we had a discussion and she told me how I could contact her again if I ever wanted to, the funny thing is I haven't wanted to, I haven't felt the need, I am not going to seek it, but if it happens again, then so be it, the visit was very spontaneous and that's how I prefer it to be, not me seeking it.

I sometimes feel what I think is my dad's presence, or at least I wonder if he's around, it happens most often when I am singing alone, I wish he could have been able to see me now, leading our music services in church, singing out loud and playing the piano. I would like to think that he is getting to experience it a little now. He knew I was doing this before he passed away, but he never got to hear me singing or leading in the church.

I have to tell you that I come from a very musical as well as artistic family, we have very creative and talented people in my family, and quite frankly that intimidated me quite a bit growing up. I had no idea if I could sing or not, I liked singing OK, I just wouldn't do it if I thought anyone could hear me. I also do some art, drawing and painting, that's not as intimidating, I can show an art piece without having to "perform", I've already done all the hard work, all I have to do is stand next to it.

Fortunately I've found my inner crooner and I'm not as afraid to sing out loud. There are a couple of songs my dad wrote, I remember him singing them in church when I was a little girl, he also played the guitar. I have been working on learning these two songs and hope to have the nerve to perform them in front of the church, soon! I have been practicing singing these songs before church starts, I purposely wait for a few people to be around, I need to learn to sing solo no matter how many people can hear me. It's also hard to sing these songs because of the emotional connection I have to them, it's hard to get through the song without crying, and I don't know about you, but I can't sing if I'm crying.

OK, so a few months ago I had a dream with my dad in it, I don't believe it was really him though, but if it was him, I hope he was OK with my reaction and understands why I had the reaction I did. I dreamed I was in his house, in his bedroom, there were 2 twin beds in there, on the one farthest from me I could detect someone laying in the bed covered up, then he uncovered, it looked like my dad, but he looked so old and frail, he turned over to look at me, almost pleading with me to come over to him... in the dream I knew he was supposed to be dead and my reaction was to rebuke whatever that was, I yelled at it to go away, I yelled that you are supposed to be dead. His face was so pitiful, I turned away and began praying to God asking Him why I was seeing this, why was I being subjected to this... then I awoke.

The reason I don't believe it was really my dad, I don't think he would retain the look of a dying person, he would have no reason to continue looking sick, old and frail, I imagine he would take on the form of a much younger man, healthy and vital, he wouldn't be begging for help, I fully believe this was a trick of the devil, trying to fool me into feeling sorry for whatever "it" was and trying to help it, causing me to become entangled in whatever that thing was.

I haven't had anything like that happen again. I am still waiting, but not seeking a visit or connection.

Another dream I had a few nights ago, I dreamed about my grandfather (from  my mother's side), I wouldn't say I forgot what he looked like, but considering the last time I saw him in living color was when I was a teenager, I don't know if this was really anything or not, but it was certainly good to see his face, to hug his neck and tell him I love him.

This last month has been a month for dreams, usually my dreams are nonsense, sometimes just fun, but I rarely dream about the people I know, when I do there is usually a reason behind it. I did have one more dream that was significant, but I'll save it for another post.

The Flash

Here's something interesting that happened a few days ago, I am a caretaker for a friend, it's a real paying job, yeah I get paid to visit, clean, cook and shop with my friend... I was at her place, it was evening, the sun was going down, it was just dark enough to begin turning on your headlights, but it was still plenty light enough to see everything pretty clearly. We were standing by my truck, she was talking, I was looking around and suddenly I saw a bright BRIGHT flash, it was bright enough to wash everything out, there were no shadows, no nothing but light, it lasted a microsecond and was gone. I looked at my friend who continued talking as if nothing had just happened, so I waited until she finished her sentence and I asked her if she had just seen something strange, she looked at me so funny and said yes, she had just seen a flash but thought it was just her eyes playing tricks, she has had cataract surgery this last year and it's not uncommon to have the occasional visual blip, she didn't say anything because she thought it was just her and I didn't seem to react.

We stood there for the next 15 minutes describing the same thing to each other. We live in a very VERY rural area, there is no traffic, we are miles and miles from the main road and it's not in line of sight, there are mountains and trees all around us, the sky was clear, we have practically no airplanes or helicopters during the day, and all but none in the evening going into night. I don't know what it was, there was no sound associated with it, it was just a very bright flash, I just realized that there was not an after image like you would see if someone used a flashbulb in your face, it wasn't centralized, it was as if the air flashed but it wasn't in any particular place. The sky was clear, there was the tiniest bit of breeze, we typically have pretty low humidity, there are no other neighbors around that could have caused it (car headlights or porch lights...), oh and it wasn't my vehicle or hers.

Who knows what it was, I do see flashes like this on a semi-regular basis, both inside and outside, this is the first time someone else was with me and saw it too, I might see it once a month or less often. I can't help but to think of that movie "The Matrix", perhaps it's a glitch in the program and we just happened to be in the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time...

Good Bye Daddy

Here I am, back and feeling better than ever. The last post I posted was about my dad, for those of you who read my other blog, you know that my dad passed away on July 30th, it was good, well as good as a death can be. Let me tell you about it.

Two days after writing my last post here that I had gotten back home, Sunday right after church, I received a phone call from my sister telling me that her hubby and their daughter were on their way to pick me up, I had 7 hours to get ready to go back to Fort Worth. I had been home for a week and one day.

I packed a bag, made some phone calls to let people out here know I would be gone for another little bit, and I waited for my brother in law and niece to arrive. They got here about midnight, I met them at the entrance to my neighborhood, kissed my hubby goodbye and started out on an overnight drive. We arrived in Fort Worth about 8ish in the morning, we went directly to the hospital. I went straight to my dad's room but was only able to stay less than a minute, the hospice people were there and wanted to talk to the family. Those few seconds I was in dad's room, I don't believe he even knew I was there, he had on a full face mask bi-pap machine, it assists in breathing. I couldn't see his face very clearly, and I was sure he couldn't see me, at least not enough to recognize me. He didn't respond at all to me walking in the room.

The hospice nurse told us that it would be next to impossible for us to take him home to die, something my dad wanted to do but had rejected the idea when we brought it up to him before, when he would have been healthy enough to make the trip back to his house. He balked at the idea of having hospice, I suppose it's not easy to accept the idea that one is about to die, he felt like he had more things to do.

We agreed that he would stay at the hospital and began calling family members and friends to come in and say goodbye. We knew he wouldn't see the end of the day. Within an hour or so, that room at the hospital, it was a cardiac ICU, was filled with people, friends, family, neighbors, it was amazing the number of people who showed up. Once the whole family was there (with the exception of 2 family members who were out of town), I told everyone to go outside into the hallway, I had each family member go into the room by themselves to say their final goodbyes. I am so thankful that we had the time and opportunity to do that. I didn't go in and talk to him alone, I had spent days and nights with him before and had already said everything that needed to be said in private.

As the day wore on, more and more people showed up, I am so thankful for the hospital, North Hills Hospital for allowing us to have so many people there, the room was full, we were spilling out into the hallway, and they never once said anything about having too many people there. I suppose they see a lot of people pass with no family or friends there. In fact, during the time I was there before, spending nights up there with dad, I had gone out into the hallway, it was dark and quiet. There had been a door to a room down the hall, there was a sign on the door that said "no visitors, see the nurse's desk", the room door was shut and no one went in or came out. Later that night, I saw the staff going into the room and quietly removing the patient, an older lady, they had her in a body bag, they had placed a hand made crocheted (granny squares) blanket over her, they quietly took her to an elevator that is for hospital staff only. I don't remember seeing anyone coming or going from that room, I wonder if she died alone...

Spending so much time in the hospital, I became very familiar with the routines and sounds of the hospital, and the spirit life there, and believe me, there is a lot of activity. A few hours before my dad passed, I was looking toward the door in the room. I saw a shadow figure go by very quickly, too quickly for a living person to have gone by, and less than a second later, another one, just like the first one flew by, I don't believe they had anything to do with my dad or that room, I believe I just happened to look up at the right time.

Being in the room while my dad was dying was quite an experience, I felt quite honored to be part of it, I talked to my dad nearly the whole time, we played gospel music, we sang, we prayed, we cried, we laughed, we told stories. Dad would respond from time to time, one thing he did was he hit his fist on the bed and said "I'm not ready!", even when you believe in an afterlife, it can be hard to face it, that final step can be a scary one.  I am convinced that he did pass on into Heaven though, about an hour before he breathed his last breath, he looked up toward the end of the bed and said "Hello Anita.", she was his oldest child, I had the honor of being by her side when she passed away some 5-6 years ago, we knew she was a saved Christian, I had been waiting for something like that to happen, I just didn't know who it would be, so when Dad acknowledged her, I felt comfortable that he was going to be OK.

Dad passed away later in the afternoon, he had been there long enough for the nurses, doctors and staff to get to know him, there were tears from them all, the nurses, the lady who cleaned his room, even his doctor there. That is part of the job, but it still doesn't make it any easier.

One of the things my dad and I discussed in the weeks before his death was if it was possible, he would come visit me, I do not actively seek it because I don't want to attract something else that might try to pretend to be my dad. I haven't had a visit from him, there was one dream I had where I thought it might have been him, but I feel quite certain by my response that it wasn't him, I'll talk about that in another post.

Really Back Home

It's been a few weeks since my last post about my dad, let me tell you that when I wrote that I was told he would pull through (ie not die right then), I really wasn't feeling it, I truly thought he would pass any time, I didn't expect him to live, to survive the next few days, but I went ahead and wrote what I had been "told", mainly as a way to document what I had been told, and as per usual, the voice was accurate, not that I believed it, I really thought that this time, the voice was wrong, had to be wrong.

My dad did come home from the hospital, for only a few days though, he began going downhill again and went back in, he is still there, it's been over 2 weeks on this stay in the hospital. I stayed with him as much as I could, mostly staying there overnight, my sister staying with him during the day. He goes up and down, getting better, then getting worse. When it was clear that he wasn't in imminent danger of passing right away, I took the opportunity to come home for a bit, I had some things that needed to be done here, so my sister drove me home, it's some 500 miles away, so it's an overnight trip. I also thought the timing would be best if my dad was still in the hospital while we were gone, the assumption is if/when my dad gets out of the hospital, my sister will move in with him and take care of him.

Honestly I'm thinking I'll be back within a month, well make that about 3 weeks now counting the near week I've been back. I haven't been told anything else, so for now, I'm just going by my gut feelings. I do want to try my utmost best to be by my dad's side when he passes, I want to be holding his hand and talking him into the next world, just like I did with my half sister on her death bed.

Sorry if this sounds a bit disjointed, it's just how things are right now.

Back Home

It's so strange to be in my childhood house again,  this is where I spent most of my growing up years once we settled for good in Texas. This has also been a very active house spiritwise.

It's been more years than I care to count since I've lived here, and around 4 years since I've been here for a visit. I here now because we thought my dad was on death's door, he had pneumonia and had been hospitalized 2X for it, he also has congestive heart failure. At neatly 84 years of age (he will be turning 84 this coming Sunday) he has lived a good long and healthy life. He still has his mind and has been fairly active until the last few months.

At this point, it's up in the air whether or not he pulls through this one, literally up to God to take him or not. I'm feeling like he is going to pull through, especially since he's still kicking, just gotta keep him rested and at the same time, try to keep him active enough to build up his strength.

I've been here nearly a couple of weeks, let me go back a bit, a few days before I came out, I had been very busy trying to get the sky castle ready for PB's daughter, SIL and 2 grandsons to come out for a visit, their first visit. The day they were supposed to arrive, I was still trying to do last minute things, around 5ish I took a break and felt an urge to call my dad. I listen to those urges. When he answered, he couldn't speak, he could barely squeak, I could understand his squeaking that he couldn't speak. After questioning him a bit, I found out that he didn't have a sore throat and that he was home alone, he sounded very scared and confused. I told him I would hang up and call my sister.

Turns out my sis had just left him around 45 minutes before and he had been just fine. Once she talked to him, she left what they were doing and went right over, they ended up calling 911 and taking him to the hospital. This would be his 2nd stay in the hospital for pneumonia. I fully believe that if I hadn't called him when I did, he wouldn't have survived.

Hospitals are very hot spots for spiritual activity, of course I saw all sorts of things there, movements and shadows mostly. I ignored them, I was more concerned about my dad at that point. Now that dad is out of the hospital, I'm spending all of my time here taking care of him, this house is still just as active as ever. Sparks of light, shadows, movements, sounds... just like it was before.

Dad keeps seeing things too, though at this point it's hard to determine how much of it is "real" and how much is the meds and his physical condition.

I had planned on leaving at the end of this week, but I think I'll stay an extra week, I really want to get home, but dad needs me the most right now. I want to be with him when he passes from this earthly realm into the spirit realm, I don't know how soon that is going to be now. If my "voice" is still accurate, I've been told he will pull through this one. I feel pretty good about it.

Things are ramping up...

Things have been more or less going pretty level spiritwise for the last few months, that is until the last few weeks, I have been seeing a jump in activity. The other night, I saw a willowy wispy form move in the air across the end of my bed, it was about 4-5 feet tall, pointy on the top and bottom, here is a picture of what it looked like to me. I only saw it for a few seconds, it moved across the end of the bed, closer to the ceiling than to the bed.

As I drew this, I realized it looks more like a flaming banana in the picture, you'll just have to take my word for it, I wasn't thinking flaming banana when I saw it. It did have a slight glow, it was brighter than the surrounding dark, and there is NO WAY this was a reflection of a vehicle going by, I live on a mountain side in a very isolated, rural area, with private roads that aren't traveled much during the day and almost no traffic at night. If it was a reflection, it wouldn't have happened at that part of my bedroom. This was 3 dimensional, floating through the air. As far as I can recall, this is the first time I've seen this particular shape. I don't know what to think of it as of yet, I just turned over and went to sleep.

I have been seeing more orb shapes, the strange thing about them is usually these are seen at night and they have a glow, what I have been seeing is almost the opposite, it's during the day, in the light and the orb is black, with fuzzy outlines, not a hard shape, these are about the size of a tennis ball and floating near the ground but not on the ground. I hate using the term "orb", that term has lots of connotations, but that is the best way to describe what they look like, a ball, usually glowing slightly, now these are dark, as if they are absorbing light instead of giving off light, like it's a negative, null or void space. Oh, and I usually see more than one at a time, usually 2 or 3 floating by, usually in an arc starting low and going higher then going back low again.

The last place I saw these dark orbs were at church, they floated past the end of the pew where I was sitting, I didn't care for the energy I felt, we are having a bit of a hiccup at church, our pastor (and his wife) resigned/retired a few weeks ago and have left. We are in the process of searching out a new pastor, for now we have been using temporary guest pastors. I have faith that God will bring us the right one, but for now things are a bit upside down. I suspect that is what is drawing whatever these are.

I believe we are living in Biblical end times, I also believe that the closer we get to and in the end times, the thinner the veil is between the physical and the spiritual, there are more and more spiritual sightings, more people are seeing things they can't explain or understand. Those of us who are used to seeing these things are more prepared for this, those who aren't used to it are having a hard time with it.

What do you think?

Big Rigs At Night

Had yet another road intuition experience, on Friday I had driven to a town that is about 3 hours away from where I live, most of the ride is long stretches of 2 lane highways with little traffic and lots of nothing to see. It was getting dark when my friend and I were driving home,  I was driving, the speed limit is 75, I don't drive that fast at night, too many critters potentially running across the road. There was a big rig in front of me driving slower that I was, there was no other traffic around, I started gauging when it would be good to pass the truck.

I looked toward the left lane next to the truck and was about to speed up to pass, I immediately got a feeling not to pass, I can't explain exactly what I saw, but the space next to the truck seemed to be like a void, an empty, truly empty space, one that if we drove into it, would be paramount to driving into a black hole, as if we would cease to exist, I didn't think we would make it home if I passed this truck at that time. Needless to say, I chose to stay behind that truck for a while longer.

About 5-7 minutes later, that feeling left and I decided it was time to pass this truck, as I did, there was an on ramp to the highway, there were two big rigs on the on ramp entering the highway, they were going a bit too fast and when they merged onto the highway, their trailers whipped into the other lane, they took up both lanes temporarily. If I had passed the truck in front of me when I first wanted to, I believe I would have been right where those two trucks entered the highway, probably having an encounter that would have resulted in our deaths.

The rest of the trip was uneventful. I do put my feelers out for animals as I am driving, I felt nothing from them, and had none of them jumped out in front of me.

Intelligent Prickles

Had another one of those "little voice" experiences, well, maybe less of a voice and more of an intelligent prickle... a couple of days ago I was going to my friend's house, my neighborhood has nothing but unpaved, aka dirt roads that go up and down, in and out, there are no traffic signs (stop, yield or such), there is very little traffic and generally people drive pretty slow out here so traffic signs aren't necessary.

So, on my way to my friend's house, I came upon a T in the road, I had to turn one way or the other, the direction I turned (to the right) causes me to make a choice between going over some major bumps in the road, actually they are deep ruts that are washed out from the last rain we had, or I have to go wide to miss the rough patch and I end up on the wrong side of the road, I'm also in the process of driving uphill, quite steeply, so driving on the wrong side of the road, going uphill and turning at the same time, got that? OK, before I went into the turn, I scan left and right to make sure no one is coming, that includes cars, trucks, 3 and 4 wheelers, pedestrians, horses (with or without riders), dogs, cats, donkeys, deer, javelinas, or other things, if it is moving, I have to yield or stop no matter what.

I didn't see anyone or anything coming in either direction, there usually isn't anyone coming, we have very little traffic, so I put out my "feelers" to detect if anyone or anything was coming, my feelers prickled back from the direction I was about to turn toward, so instead of pulling wide to the left to miss the rough road (which would have put me on the wrong side of the road and going face to face with what or who ever was coming) I slowly pulled across  the rough patch, staying very close to the right side of the road.

Sure enough, a jeep with a young driver (I know who he is) came around the corner toward me, not going too fast but fast enough that he skidded just a little when he saw me, I think he over compensated a bit, turning his wheel harder and hitting the brakes a bit. Had I not "felt" him coming, I would have been on the wrong side of the road, heading face to face with him, we probably wouldn't have hit each other, but it could have happened, it would have put me in a bad spot... at any rate, I do actively use my feelers, especially on blind turns and such where I am more likely to have a problem if I'm not alert (or alerted) to what is coming...

This also works for me when I am driving at night, that is pretty rare having to go out after dark, but occasionally necessary. The biggest problem that could happen while driving after dark is the critters that come out, the same ones I listed above, the most dangerous ones are deer and javelina, and the occasional skunk, dog, fox or coyote. The first two will really mess you up if you hit one, especially if you are going at higher speeds, the rest of them will just make a mess of your car but could still cause you to lose control... so the thing I do is I drop my speed considerably, I do not do 70 which is the typical highway speed out here until you get into the neighborhood, then you do 5-15 at night. Again, I put out my feelers as I am driving, and when I get that prickle, I slow down even more and look for whatever it might be, I will often see the critter, sometimes I don't, but it has saved my bacon more times that I can count.

On another note, I am seeing a lot more things, such as movements in the air, shadows and amorphous shapes shooting across my field of vision, we aren't talking floaters either, I have methods to detect whether or not it's something going on with my vision, when I see something, I'll slightly move where I'm looking, if the thing moves with me, then I know it's a floater or something going on inside my head, if it stays in the same place or continues to move in the same manner, then I know it's outside of my head, in 3D space in front of me.

Sometimes these things are like sparks of light, sometimes a single spark, sometimes multiple sparks (like a sparkler), sometimes it's like a shadow, smoke like, I don't recall seeing anything really solid though, it's usually transparent or semi-transparent. It's almost always in the air above me, just slightly, maybe a foot or two above my head level, though it can be lower, closer to floor level. These things typically last a second or two, I don't ever recall seeing something like this for longer, it's almost a streak, by the time I really get a good look it's gone. I do wish I knew what these are, I have some theories, but no proof.
